Eagles take down the Blazers, fall to Falcons

The Fremont Track Teams beat the host Eastside Blazers, but lost to the Falcons of Fairfield. The effort bands given out by Coach Houser went to Ricky Short for the guys and Abby Hostetler for the girls. Ricky ran his 1st ever 100m dash and ended up beating both of the Eastside runners. Abby continued her dominance by winning the 400m and 800m runs. Chelsea Sherbrune ran a personal best in her hurdle events, which she could have ran faster if it was not snowing, so look out for this freshman sensation! Kodey Smith placed in the Pole Vault with a vault of 8 feet 6 inches. Trevor Wirick broke the 18 foot mark in Long Jump in his 2nd time Long Jumping this year. The Track Teams are back in action this Thursday as they host the Rangers of Reading (MI).
