Lady Eagles Fall in Regional

Battling the much bigger and more athletic Bishop Luers Knights proved to be too much of a task as the Lady Eagles ended their season at 15-10 with a 59-32 loss on Saturday.  The ladies only trailed by 4 at the end of the first quarter and were still within 8 with about a minute to go until halftime and Luers made a late 6 point run to go up by 14 at half.  The Eagles saw the deficit  expand to 22 late in the third but were able to pull wo 15 at the end of the third.  However in the 4th quarter the team ran out of gas.  The team was lead by senior Liz Carlson with 14 points and 2 assists.  Miranda White had 4 points 9 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Kelsey Glendening had 6 rebounds and 3 assists.  The team would like to thank all the people who made the last week a week that will never be forgotten by all players and coaches.  Congratulations on a great season and for bringing pride to your school and community.
