Road loss at Park

Forest Lake entered Friday night’s game with conference foe Park of Cottage Grove expecting a competitive game and it was as the Wolf Pack were able to finish a close game winning 52-47.   The Rangers played the first half in favor of the tempo dictated by Park  and when combined with a low shooting percentage the Rangers fell behind trailing at the half.  The lead grew to double digits when the momentum shifted as the Rangers match-up zone and improved shooting closed the gap and tied the game with two minutes left to play.  From there the game would be determined by controlling the final possessions of the game.  The Rangers were unable to convert on their possession resulting in their loss.  The Rangers return home to host the two Woodbury schools this week starting with East Ridge on Tuesday night.
