Changes to the SSA Commissioners Cup Series ...It now only takes "2" races to qualify for the SSA Florida's Commissioner's Cup Race. Plus the deadline has been extended til October 23, 2011. Anyone can race, but to be qualify for your track team sheet, you must have "2" races. 2011 FLORIDA COMMISSIONERS CUP (FORMALLY SUMMER SERIES) The Sunshine State BMX Association is introducing a new summer BMX racing program. The Commissioners Cup will be a track vs. track format using the rules from the NBL Presidents Cup. Open to all USABMX members. Season Starts July 15 through October 9, 2011. Qualifications-A rider must race at least four (4) races at any Florida NBL Track during the season. You must declare your home track, to the Track Director, by September 10, 2011 to be on the track roster and order your track jersey. (Each track will be responsible for the jersey order and collecting payment). All riders who are on the track roster must have an official long sleeve track jersey or long sleeve t-shirt displaying the track name. **The following classes are excluded from the Commissioners Cup: AA Elite Men & Women, A Elite Men & Women, Masters/ Vet Pro.** The Commissioners Cup Race will be October 29, 2011 at St. Pete BMX Track. Race Time: 2PM Practice and registration: 11-1:30 PM. Entry fee $20 pre. $30 post. Track roster forms will be available at the Commissioner Cup race.
