Bulldogs fall to Tenn. State Tigers

Nashville, Tenn. - After a tough homecoming battle against Lane College, the Fisk Bulldogs fell short with a 92-53 loss to the Tennessee State Tigers.

Senior Brandyn Mungo was a double-digit scorer for the Bulldogs with 15 points as Junior Darrell Miller grabbed his season average of 12 points.

The Tigers led early in the game 21-6 in their season home opener. Near the end of the first half, the Bulldogs pulled close to a 9-point deficit but were outscored in the end.

Bulldogs captain and senior Myles Carroll carried the team's momentum throughout as the player of the game.

On Thursday, November 29, the Bulldogs head to Henderson, Tennessee to face the Freed Hardeman Lions.
