Wrestling Nutrition (Continued)

Today's family more often than not eats fast food on a regular basis.  This is detrimental to the well being of the student-athlete, especially wrestlers, as they are more proned to watching their weight.

Knowing that today is a Fast Food world, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Lilly Corp, of Indiana, along with 5 other leading organizations, form Healthy Hoosiers.  This organization is geared towards assisting with diabetic patients but the information is good for all people, especially student-athletes, more specifically, wrestlers.

One of the Alliance's, Healthy Hoosiers, first endeavors is to provide a resource called Nutrition in the Fast Lane, a guide to help select more healthy eating choices from the thousands of menu options at 26 of the most frequently visited fast-food and casual dining chains in Indiana.

Most of the chains are available in North Carolina and more importantly in our immediate area.

Please download the file Life in the Fast Lane and use it to make wiser choices with your menu selections to help maintain your nutrition and attain your weight goal through a healthy diet.

Click here to download the booklet.  It is a PDF file and you will need Adobe Reader to read the file.
