Bucks Finish in Top Four

Hoke County High School

The Fighting Bucks took 16 wrestlers to this weekend's tournament at East Montgomery High School's Eagle Invitational and 11 of them finished in the top 5 of the tournament.  The Bucks scored more points in this tournament in recent memory by scoring 139.5 points.

Pinecrest won the tournament with 199 points, followed by Sun Valley (189), West Stanly (151.5), Hoke (139.) and in fifth place South Stanly with a score of 130.5 points.

Winning championships for the Bucks were 103 pounder D Gustafson who went 3-0 with 2 pins and a technical fall and at 285, C Nettles who went 3-0 with 3 pins.
