McIntyre, a retired pro who lives in Charlotte and aspires to become a coach, led Clemson to three NCAA tournament appearances from 1995-99. The ACC's leading scorer as a senior, he ranks second in school history in career points and assists.
McIntyre spent most of his professional career in Europe. He was twice the Most Valuable Player in the Italian League (2007, '09) and twice all All-Euroleague first teamer. He led his teams in Italy to four league championships.
He also played professionally in France and Germany, as well as with the Fayetteville Patriots of the NBA Developement League.
Representing the Big Four schools will be Trajan Langdon (Duke), Mike O'Koren (North Carolina), Dereck Whittenburg (N.C. State) and coach Carl Tacy (Wake Forest). Former league commissioner Gene Corrigan will also be honored along with Mark Price (Georgia Tech), Gary Williams (Maryland), Travis Watson (Virginia), Tharon Mayes (Florida State), Ace Custis (Virginia Tech), Mike Wittman (Miami) and Gerry Ward (Boston College).
