JV's Go Out With A Victory

November 6, 2009
Hoke County High School

J. Ford scores two first half touchdowns on the way to a 14-6 victory.  The freshman quarterback provided both scores for the Bucks, after the combination of runs and passes by his teammates put them in scoring position.

The first extra point was no good as I LaBoy ran the wrong direction.  On the second extra point try, I Laboy ran the right direction but was slammed like a Raggedy Andy as the ball skimmed off his chest and into the waiting arms of J Williams who held onto the ball.

The Patriots of Pinecrest really had no answer to the Spread, 2 Back running attack that the Bucks used through out the game.  Coach Compton did an excellent job of mixing up the run/pass calls and kept the Patriot defense on their heals.

The Buck defense did a great job, as they kept former Hoke student-athlete, D Monroe in check and caused 5 fumbles in the game.

Congratulations to JV Head Coach Stan Callender on this victory.
