Bucks Pull Out Victory Over Tigers

Hoke County 28, South View 21 - Cory Cannon caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Michael Locklear to give Hoke County a win over South View.

Locklear threw two touchdown passes and Detrez Newsome ran for two scores for Hoke (2-0). Newsome ran for 183 yards in 23 carries.

South View trailed 21-14 at halftime but tied the score in the fourth quarter on a 15-yard touchdown run by Tyrus Jackson. He also scored on a 71-yard touchdown in the first quarter.

Jackson rushed for 99 yards in 16 carries.
