Home » General NewsLady Diamond Cats post winMarch 31, 2011 Flippin High SchoolThe Flippin Lady Bobcats posted a big sixth inning to capture a 6-4 victory over the Salem Lady Greyhounds Monday night. Salem scored first on a squeeze play in the fourth inning, then scored again in the sixth to make it 2-0. The Lady Bobcats went hitless until exploding in the sixth when Kelsey Jensen started the rally by taking advantage of an error on a throw to first. Jensen sprinted around the bases to third on the error. Courtney Martin followed with a base hit to score Jensen. Demi Hargrove had a perfect bunt with two runners on to score the second run in the inning. Alex Stubenfoll followed with a two-run triple. Courtney Massey added a base hit to score Stubenfoll, then Taylor Crosslin singled to right field to advance Massey. Kaylee Wood scored both runners with a triple to complete the six-run sixth for Flippin. Stubenfoll went the distance, striking out seven for the win. — From staff reports Baxter Bulletin
