Jr. Lady Bobcats Advance in District Tournament

The Lady Bobcats advanced to the semi-final round of the AAA 1-East District Tournament Wednesday night by defeating the Cave City Cave Women by the score of 33-23.  After scoring only 2 points in the first quarter, the Lady Bobcats had a 16 point second quarter to take a six point lead to the locker room at half time.  A slow second half by both teams saw the final score at 33-23.
Scoring for Flippin was Amanda Whitman with 18, Kaylee Wood 7, Baylee Politte had 4 and Hannah Davis and Megan Loucks each had 2 points.

The Lady Bobcats will play again at 6:30 Friday night against the number 2 seed Valley Springs Tigers.
