STATE CHAMPIONS DAY @ BOBCAT DEN

Flippin school district honored the 1984, 1985, 1988 Girls State Championship Teams on Saturday @ the Bobcat Den.  Lunch was provided for the State Champions in the high school cafeteria by TLC BANK.  ASHLEY HAVENS AND STATE FARM INSURANCE SPONSORED THE CEREMONIES.  We would like to thanks our sponsors for purchasing the giant photos and providing food for the event..ARVEST BANK, TLC BANK, FIRST SERVICE BANK AND ASHLEY HAVENS AND STATE FARM INSURANCE.  We would also like to thank THE BAXTER BULLETIN for providing coverage for the day.

Mr. Dale Query gave the introduction for the ceremony and public address announcer presided over the ceremony.  Coach Lou Wood spoke about the 1984 and 1985 season and gave medals to all the State Champions. Coach Vernie Harris also spoke about the 1988 season and presented medals to all of his players.  Dr. John Carey and Mr. George Lewis presented the State Championship trophies to the teams.

Giant Photos were displayed of each State Championship Team and will be hung in the Bobcat Den for the upcoming year.  I would like to thank everyone that helped put this event together and hope that everyone enjoyed the day.  Come out and support the Bobcats!!!
