Home » Athletics NewsSTUDENT TRAINERSJuly 21, 2011 By Aaron Emeyabbi of Ferris High SchoolAthletic Training Students, I hope you are all enjoying your summer and getting ready to return to school. My name is Anne Morton, I am happy to be starting at Ferris High School as athletic trainer as well as teaching your sports medicine class. I have high expectation for everyone taking part in the sports medicine program. As part of your grade for this class, attendance at practice and games will be required. I have not decided what percentage will be required at this time (this figure will slightly depend on the number enrolled in the class). Don't panic, the final determination of practice and game attendance won't require everyday attendance but you are welcome if you would like. The more you attend, the better your experience. Football two-a-days begin August 1st at 4:30 pm. You are all invited and encouraged to begin at this time as well. I anticipate the sports medicine class to be a great learning opportunity for you, everyone will be given the chance to gain some good hands on training and invaluable experience in a fun environment. I will be organizing the training room beginning July 26, I hope that you will come by and introduce yourself and perhaps provide a little assistance in this organization project. I wish all of you a safe and enjoyable rest of summer and hope to meet you soon. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Anne Morton Anne Morton, LAT 903-288-5008
