Perennial Class B golf power Fort Benton ran away with both team titles, while the Longhorns' Louis Schneider captured medalist honors at Monday's Great Falls Invitational golf tourney, held at Anaconda Hills golf course.The Fort Benton boys turned a three-man total of 243 to beat second-place Sunburst by 13 shots in the team standings. Great Falls Central took third with a 258 total, two behind the Refiners. Schneider was the only boy to break 80 with a nine-over 78 over the par-69 municipal course layout, Teammate Zach Murray was second with an 81. Sunburst's Zach Johannsen and Great Falls Central's Fred Woelkers tied for third place with identical 82s. |
