Home » Girls' Basketball NewsTwo Athletes named to McDonald's All American TeamFebruary 11, 2010 Father Lopez Catholic High SchFive Eagles named all-state By BUDDY SHACKLETTE Staff Writer ALL-AMERICAN NOMINEES: Father Lopez's Jessica Russi and Ashley Shannon and Seabreeze's Corey Walden have been nominated to the McDonald's All-American high school boys and girls basketball teams. The players rank among 2,500 nominees competing to fill 24 positions each on the boys and girls teams. The McDonald's All-American games are scheduled for March 31 at the Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The final rosters will be announced Thursday on ESPNU.
