Coach Batch's Corner
Game time is only a week away! Going to be HOT HOT HOT this week. Please make sure your son is not only hydrating during the day, but also at night, more importantly eating the right foods as well.
We were practicing during Mr Lefkowitz’s meetingfor parents. I am looking forward to a great season and meeting all of you. I would like to have the team get together for a BBQ at Fenton City Park one weekend so if anyone would like to coordinate that let me know. Could play flag football or wiffle ball father vs son or something fun.
For home games, Mr Lefkowitz has asked that I find a chain gang of three parents. Start time is usually firstname.lastname@example.org for either chains or film and I can set up a schedule for both.. Also, if anyone is a gifted filmer for games we need someone to video tape our games so we can put them on hudl for the boys. We will provide the tape, camera, training, etc. Please email me at
Injuries: We have had a few injuries this week. This correct sequence/order of events should be taken in this order: 1. Athlete reports injury to coach. 2. Coach Refers athlete to trainer 3. Trainer evaluates and gives treatment/diagnosis 4. If trainer feels doctor referral is necessary, parent contact will be made. Parent can obviously choose their own doctor or trainer will make recommendation to team physician
Chain of Command: I am the freshman contact for issues at our level. Then Coach Stewart. If there are issues of an emotionally charged nature please allow 24 hrs to contact me and we can then arrange a face to face meeting with either Coach Stewart or Mr Lefkowitz. Best way to contact me other wise is email.
Absences: Make sure to contact me if your son is absent from school or goes home early. Make this THEIR responsibility. We will start holding them accountable for No Call/No Shows this week. Phone: 314 520 2712 Email: email@example.com
Game/Sideline Expectations: During games, home or away, we expect parents to remain in the stands and support our team in a positive way that gives credit to our school and community. After our post game team meeting our athletes will be released to locker room and then will be dismissed. We will discuss away games as the season progresses
