Falcon Sports Report for Wed. May 21

Falcons Sport Shorts from yesterday:

  • Varsity Girls Track placed 6th in the Sectional meet.  Advancing to Regional were Jessica Miller in the 100 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, and Long Jump, Riley Miller in the 100 and 200, Andrea Hagar in the Discus, and the 400 meter relay of Riley Miller, Jessica Miller, Danae Miller, and Cierra Lau;
  • Varsity Boys Golf defeated West Noble 168-187 and Bremen 168-177.  With the win over West Noble the Boys Golf won the NECC Regular Season title;
  • JV Boys Golf defeated West Noble and Bremen;
  • Varsity Softball defeated Westview 15-0 and Prairie Heights 14-4;
  • JV Softball defeated Westview 25-6;
  • Varsity Baseball lost to Prairie Heights 4-11;
  • JV Baseball lost to Wawasee 6-7;


There will be a brief meeting after school Friday for all Girls in Grades 8-11 who plan to try out for HS Cheer for next year.  Plan to meet in the LGI.  Tryouts will next week.


Attention all Junior High Track and Golf team members:  Your Awards Program is this Thursday in the Cafeteria.  Time has been moved up to 5:00 pm.


Attention all Girls in Grades 8-11 planning to try out for High School Volleyball:  Open Gyms will start this Thursday from 6-7:30pm in the Aux Gym.


Attention all Athletes in Grades 7-11 who plan to run Cross-Country this fall:  There will be an organizational meeting for Athletes and Parents on Wednesday May 28, starting at 5:45 pm in theFHSCafeteria.  This is an important meeting for Athletes and Parents.


Sign-up and Equipment for next year’s 8th grade Football Team will be Thursday May 29th after school.  Mark your calendar!


Athletic Summer Camp Forms for Students in Grade 7-8 are available outside the Athletic Office, by the Pepsi Machines.
