• Varsity Girls Tennis defeated NorthWood 5-0 to advance to tonight’s Sectional Championship match;

Singles

No 1- Haley Bechtel def. Kennedy Walter 6-2, 6-4

No 2- Lauren Streit def. Emily Hoffman 6-1, 6-2

No 3- McKenzie Hochstedler def. Trista Grove 6-4, 6-3.

Doubles

No 1- Kaelin Bender/Nicole Murdoch def. Tori Schwartz/Sarah Wysong 6-1, 6-3

No 2- Leah Wimmer/Mary Shipley def.BrooklynMoore/Kaya Bear 6-3, 6-3.

 

• Varsity Boys Track placed 3rd in the Sectional.  Congratulations to the following Regional Qualifiers:  Brett Baumgartner who won the 200 and qualified in the 100, Dillon Hinen who qualified in the 800 and 1600, Cameron Kitson in 110 Hurdles and Pole Vault, Dillon Lockwood in the Long Jump, Kyle Ostrander in the Discus, Dalton Hinen in the Discus, along with the Regional Qualifying 400 Meter Relay team of Cameron Kitson, Caleb Noble, Dillon Lockwood, and Brett Baumgartner; and the Regional Qualifying 1600 Relay team of Dillon Hinen, AJ Mast, Alex Mast, and Brett Baumgartner

Attention all Junior High Track team and JH Golf Team members:  If you missed last evening’s awards recognition program stop by the Athletic Office. 

 

The High School Spring Sports Award evening will be Tuesday June 5, starting at6:30 pmin the Auditorium.

 

Attention all Athletes in Grades 7-11 who plan to run Cross-Country this fall:  There will be an organizational meeting for Athletes and Parents on Wednesday May 23, starting at5:30 pmin theFHSCafeteria.  This is an important meeting for Athletes and Parents.

 

Athletic Summer Camp Forms for Students in Grade 7-8 are available outside the Athletic Office, by the Pepsi Machines.
