Calling All Athletes and Coaches...

Are you looking for a FUN & EXCITING way to directly interact with the community and boost team camaraderie while helping out a good cause?  The 2008 NAS Green Mountain Strongman Challenge to benefit the American Lung Association of Vermont is happening on Saturday, July 26, 2008.   Some of the country's strongest people will converge at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex to put themselves against heavy, massive and at times immovable objects. 

Test your strength with the Amateur Firetruck Pull with proceeds to benefit the American Lung Association of Vermont. Support our mission: to promote lung health and prevent lung disease. Registration is at 1pm and the Pull starts at 2pm.

The challenge: Compete in non-traditional athletic event that require substantial feats of strength.
The challengers:  Normal, everyday athletes.
The prize: Pride or just bragging rights?  How about a trophy?

We challenge you to pull the Firetruck 50 feet in 90 seconds!
Trophies will be given to the TOP Individual who pulls the truck the fastest and the TOP TEAM who pulls the truck fastest.
