Home » Cross Country NewsCross Country wins Stafford MeetSeptember 17, 2010 By Bill Maddy of Ellinwood High SchoolThe Ellinwood Lady Eagles once again captured 1st place at the Stafford Invitational. In the girls varsity race, Jenna Snell came in first, followed closely by teammates Michelle Klepper and Paulina Montoya placing 4th and 5th respectively. Rounding out the Lady Eagle medalists were Rebecca Strecker finishing 9th and Becky Elsen at 19th. On the men's side, the Ellinwood Eagles Varsity placed 5th as a team led by Pedro Montoya in 2nd with Kyle Blakeslee coming across the line in 8th. Tim Welch was a medalist in the JV race earning a 15th place finish. Way to go Eagles!
