BOYS:
Junior Patrick Ringering finished 2nd in the Boys 200 Meter Dash with a time of 23.66, Senior Cameron Williams placed 4th with a 23.96 time.
Sophomore Tanner Swank placed 6th in the Boys 400 Meter Dash with a time of 59.43. (heat #2)
In the Boys 800 Meter Run, Sophomore Kyle Oglesbee placed 2nd with a time of 2:00.93. Junior Derek Ward placed 6th in the same heat with a 2:16.22 time. Sophomore Pedro Montoya placed 10th. (heat #2)
Montoya dominated the Boys 1600 meter run with a 4:49.46 winning time. Freshman Morgan Feemster placed fourth at 5:12.43. Sophomore Damon Fish finished in 11th place.
Montoya, Feemster, and Senior Brandon Coomes competed in the Boys 3200 Meter run. Montoya placed 1st (10:29.58), Feemster 3rd (11:04.33), Coomes placed 11th.
In the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles, Sophomore Devin Ramsey finished 2nd with a time of 16.65.
Ellinwood's 4 x 100 meter relay team placed 1st with a time of 45.84. Competing team members include Ringering, Oglesbee, Senior Colin Miller, and Williams. (heat #2)
The 4 x 400 relay team consisting of Ringering, Williams, Ward, and Oglesbee placed 1st with a 3:42.79 time. (heat #2)
The 4 x 800 team also finished 1st with a time of 8:49.93. Team members include Feemster, Oglesbee, Ward, and Ringering. (heat #2)
Ellinwood dominated the Boys High Jump with Swank (5-6. 0100), and Sophomore Adam Birzer (5-6) receiving 1st and 2nd places.
Ramsey took 9th place in the Boys Pole Vault with a 7-6 mark.
In the Boys Long Jump Williams took home first place in his heat with an 18-1 mark. Ramsey took 5th (16-1.5)
Freshman Cody Woofruff took 5th in Triple Jump Heat #1 with a 27-11.5 mark. Swank took first in his heat #2 with a mark of 35-11.25.
In Boys Shot Put, Birzer took first (34-8.25) in heat #3, Miller took 3rd (35-0.5) in Heat #4.
Sophomore Wyatt Smith competed in Boys Shot Put receiving 8th in his heat (35-8.25)
Miller and Birzer competed in the Boys Discus Throw Heat #2. Miller placed 3rd (103-5) Birzer 4th (99-8). In heat 3 Smith took 4th (111-11).
Smith competed in Boys Javelin (heat #2) placing 3rd (107-1). Miller took 6th (97-0). In Heat #3, Swank placed 5th (133-11)
GIRLS:
Junior Chelsea Day took 4th in the 100 Meter Dash with a 13.84 time.
Junior Becky Elsen placed 4th in the 200 Meter Dash with a 28.53 time. Freshman McKenna Rugan finished 7th (30.34)
In the 400 Meter Dash, Sophomore Brooke Panning took home 2nd place in her heat with a 1:05.02 time, Junior Oma Thomas 4th (1:07.00) and Rugan 5th (1:08.50)
Senior Becca Strecker sweeped the 800 Meter run with a 2:32.68 time. Freshman Chelsea Kasper placed 4th (2:51.65). Freshman Rachel Doll took 6th (2:52.59)
Junior Jenna Snell placed 3rd in the 1600 Meter Run (5:54.81). Doll placed 10th, Strecker 11th.
Snell also placed 3rd in the 3200 Meter Run.
Sophomore Sophie Hayes took first in the 100 Meter Hurdles (16.59), Junior Lindsey Zink placed 6th (23.94)
Hayes also took first in the 300 Meter Hurdles (heat #2) with a 48.94 time.
Ellinwood's 4 x 100 Meter Relay team consisting of Hayes, Zink, Thomas, Panning, and Rugan took 3rd with a 54.31 time.
4 x 400 Relay team of Panning, Hayes, Thomas, Strecker, Rugan brought home the gold with a time of 4:24.76.
The 4 x 800 team also dominated placing first with a time of 10:27.47. Team members include Snell, Panning, Kasper, and Strecker.
Zink placed 3rd in high Jump (4-6) Elsen's 8-0 mark landed her 2nd in Pole Vault.
Elsen took home 1st in her heat with a 30-11.5 mark.
In shot put heat #3, Sophomore Amanda Tucker placed 3rd (31-2.5)
In Girls Discus Heat #2 Tucker blew everyone out of the water with a 104-6 mark.
Tucker also placed 1st in her javelin heat #2 with a 76-1 mark. Elsen placed 3rd in heat #3 with a 91-7 mark.
