IHSAA review committee upholds ruling on Eron Gordon being ineligible to play at Cathedral

The Indiana High School Athletic Association’s review committee today upheld the ineligibility ruling on basketball standout Eron Gordon.

Gordon, considered one of the top junior basketball players in the country, transferred to Cathedral from North Central this summer. But IHSAA commissioner Bobby Cox ruled that Gordon had transferred for athletic reasons, making him ineligible for 365 days from his last varsity game at North Central.
