 UCLA Bruins (1973 - Pres)

Head Coach Jim Mora will have plenty of weapons to work with in 2014 including QB Brett Hundley.  Hundley flirted with heading to the NFL but will return for what promises to be an explosive junior season.  To give everyone and idea of just how important Hundley is to the Bruins offense, he has accounted for 73 TD’s in his two seasons and has UCLA’s offense looking for more this season.  They averaged 36.9 points per game and 448.5 yards of total offense in 2013.  Offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone now has the weapons and an excellent offensive line to make a run at the PAC-12 title and thoughts of a national playoff berth.  Jordan James returns at RB as does Paul Perkins.  Jordan Payton and Devin Fuller are back at WR and will be joined by talented receivers Devin Lucien and Thomas Duarte. The offensive line will return LT Simon Goines, C Jake Brendel, RG Alex Redmond and RT Caleb Benenoch.

 UCLA Bruins (2004 - Pres)

UCLA’s defense will also return plenty of talent with coordinator Jeff Ulbrich leading the way.  The Bruins have Eddie Vanderdoes (6-4 310) up front along with DE Owamagbe Odighizuwa (6-3 270), NT Kenny Clark and DE Ellis McCarthy. Clark was a surprise in the spring with his play.  LB/RB Myles Jack is an animal and will return after being named the PAC-12 Offensive and Defensive Freshman of the year.  Senior Eric Kendricks also returns at LB.  The secondary returns three starters led by Ishmael Adams, Fabian Moreau and Randall Goforth.  They are relatively young but very talented.

UCLA will play a very good non-conference schedule with a road game at Virginia, a home contest against Memphis and then their first real test against Texas at Arlington September 13th.  Oregon, Stanford and USC all have to play at the Rose Bowl which will be an advantage for the Bruins.
