O'Bannon case: Plaintiffs continue to make their case

OAKLAND — The Ed O'Bannon antitrust lawsuit against the USA began its second week in court on Monday with former Vanderbilt football player Chase Garnham returning to the stand.

Garnham was followed by another plaintiffs witness, Drexel sport management professor Ellen Staurowsky.

Garnham talked about how often he played with injuries while with the Commodores, noting that he took pain medication before almost every game his junior and senior season. The medication was administered by training staff, he said.
