LEAD HEADLINE:

CHICAGO -- Alec Martinez scored 5:47 into overtime and the Los Angeles Kings won Game 7 of the Western Conference Final, 5-4, Sunday night at United Center against the Chicago Blackhawks and advanced to the Stanley Cup Final for the second time in three seasons.

Martinez's shot from the left point hit Chicago defenseman Nick Leddy and knuckled past goaltender Corey Crawford.

Just as they've had to throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Kings had to rally to win this game. Three times Los Angeles fell behind, and each time the Kings responded. They became the first team in NHL history to play 21 games in the first three rounds and advance to the Stanley Cup Final, where they will meet the New York Rangers.
