1968 Forward Pass won the Preakness Stakes.

1985 Tank's Prospect won the Preakness Stakes.
1988 Oakland's Dave Stewart broke a major league record with his 12th balk of the season.
1990 Cubs 2B Ryan Sandberg's errorless game streak came to an end after 123 games and 584 chances.
1996 Jockey Pat Day won his third consecutive Preakness Stakes and his fifth Preakness overall, after riding Louis Quatorze to victory.
