ARLINGTON, Tex. — Wisconsin point guard Traevon Jackson is a different player. You can see that in the statistics: improvements as a scorer, passer, shooter from his sophomore season to this, his junior year.
He might chuckle if you stop there, because these are not the changes he feels the most. They might technically compose a significant percentage of the reasons Wisconsin is competing at the 2014 NCAA Final Four, but there is more to it.
“This summer was such a huge summer for my mind, renewing my mind, coming back to God — everything is so much easier now,” Jackson told Sporting News. “I have the strength. I’m given the strength.
