BIG TEN MEDAL OF HONOR 100TH ANNIVERSARY SPOTLIGHT
Iowa's Kristin Johnson
A two-time NFCA All-American and Academic All-Big Ten selection, Johnson earned the
Big Ten Medal of Honor in 2003.

Johnson was a four-time All-Big Ten selection, including as a freshman in 2000, when
she was the only player in the conference to be named a unanimous first-team All-Big
Ten pick. She also collected first-team All-Big Ten plaudits as a senior in 2003
after being named a second-team NFCA All-American.

Johnson, who was named Iowa's Golden Glove Winner in all four seasons, led the
Hawkeyes to Big Ten Championships in 2001 and 2003. She was a member of the Academic
All-Big Ten team in both her sophomore and junior seasons.
