First Star

Travis Boyd, Minnesota

*         Tallied four points (one goal, three assists) to lead Minnesota to a
series sweep of Penn State

*         Notched a pair of assists in Friday's 5-1 victory, including on the
game-winning goal

*         Recorded points on both Minnesota goals in Saturday's 2-1 win with one
goal and one assist

*         His 24 points, nine goals and 15 assists this season are all career highs

*         Earns his second career Big Ten weekly award and first since being named
First Star on Jan. 7

*         Last Minnesota honorees: Adam Wilcox (First Star) and Hudson Fasching
(Second Star) on Feb. 18



Second Star

Alex Guptill, Michigan

*         Registered three points (two goals, one assist) to help Michigan claim
four points in a home-and-home series with Ohio State

*         Scored both Wolverine goals in Friday's 2-2 tie and shootout loss,
including the game-tying goal with 5:16 remaining in the third period

*         Added one assist during Sunday's 4-3 win

*         Ranks second in the Big Ten with 110 shots and 4.23 shots per game this
season

*         Earns his first career Big Ten weekly award

*         Last Michigan honoree: JT Compher (First Star) on Jan. 28



Third Star

Adam Wilcox, Minnesota

G - So. - South Saint Paul, Minn.



*         Stopped 30 of the 31 shots he faced (.968 save percentage) on Friday as
Minnesota defeated Penn State

*         Earned his conference-leading 21st victory of the season

*         Has lost just twice in his last 19 starts, going 13-2-4 in that stretch

*         Ranks second in the Big Ten and among the top seven nationally in save
percentage (.932), goals-against average (1.94) and winning percentage (.783)

*         Claims his fifth career Big Ten weekly award and first since being named
First Star on Feb. 18

*         Last Minnesota honorees: Adam Wilcox (First Star) and Hudson Fasching
(Second Star) on Feb. 18
