Gophers' Wilcox and Fasching and Spartans' Hildebrand earn honors



First Star

Adam Wilcox, Minnesota

*         Stopped 63 of the 67 shots he faced (.940 save percentage) as Minnesota
swept nationally ranked Michigan

*         Recorded 35 saves in the Gophers' 5-3 victory on Friday

*         Turned aside 28 shots on Saturday to complete the sweep with a 4-1 win

*         Leads all Big Ten goalies and ranks second nationally with 20 victories
this season

*         Claims his fourth career Big Ten weekly award and first since being named
Second Star on Feb. 4

*         Last Minnesota honoree: Adam Wilcox (Second Star) on Feb. 4



Second Star

*         Tallied three points (two goals, one assist) to lead Minnesota to a series
sweep of nationally ranked Michigan

*         Notched one goal during Friday's 5-3 victory

*         Added one goal and one assist on Saturday as the Gophers completed the sweep

*         Currently tied for the conference freshman goal-scoring lead with 11 this
season

*         Earns his second career Big Ten weekly award and first since being named
Third Star on Nov. 12

*         Last Minnesota honoree: Adam Wilcox (Second Star) on Feb. 4



Third Star

Jake Hildebrand, Michigan State

G - So. - Butler, Pa.



*         Recorded 53 saves and a .946 save percentage to help Michigan State claim
five of six points in a series against Penn State

*         Notched 25 saves during Friday's 2-2 tie, then stopped all seven attempts
he faced as the Spartans won the shootout

*         Stopped 28 of 29 shots on Saturday as Michigan State claimed a 2-1 victory

*         Leads all Big Ten goalies with a .942 save percentage in conference play

*         Claims his fourth career Big Ten weekly award and first since being named
First Star on Jan. 21

*         Last Michigan State honoree: Greg Wolfe (Third Star) on Feb. 11
