*         The American Athletic Conference has a season-high four teams ranked in
this week's Associated Press poll. The American is tied with the ACC, which also has
four teams in the poll. The Big 12 leads all conferences with five ranked teams.



*         The American is the only conference to have two teams ranked in the top 10
of the USA Today Coaches' Poll (No. 7 Cincinnati, No. 10 Louisville).



*         Five American Athletic Conference teams - half of the league's membership
- were either ranked or received votes in both national polls this week.



*         Cincinnati extended its winning streak to 14 games with Sunday's 50-45
victory against UCF. The Bearcats have the fifth-longest active winning streak
nationally, behind Wichita State (23), Syracuse (21), San Diego State (18) and
Stephen F. Austin (17).



*         The American Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Cincinnati G Sean
Kilpatrick (23.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.000 FT% in 2-0 week). The Rookie of the
Week is USF F/C Chris Perry (15.5 ppg, 7.5 rpg, .706 FG% in two games).



*         The next American Athletic Conference game will be Tuesday when No. 24/rv
Memphis hosts Rutgers (7 p.m. ET, CBS Sports Network). It will be the first meeting
between the teams on the hardwood.
