With concussions in football fueling lawsuits and documentaries, the head of the American Football Coaches Association told people attending the group's convention Monday that "our game is under attack."
But after Grant Teaff spoke at the Indiana Convention Center, the AFCA presented its own expert with a message the 6,000 coaches in attendance would like: Moms, it is OK for your sons to play football.
Sandra Bond Chapman, founder and chief director of the Center for Brain Health at the University of Texas at Dallas, told the AFCA that "football is health-enhancing."
