GIVING THANKS TO COLLEGE FOOTBALL'S LOSERS

TIME TO GIVE THANKS
Are you kidding me? 11 losses last week in our college football picks? It made me wonder if some of these teams we picked to win wanted to stay in national championship contention. So let’s give thanks to those who screwed up our picks again this week:
Louisville. The Cardinals were looking to make some noise in the national title picture. Well they can now forget that dream. Losing to Central Florida at home Friday night 38-35. Thanks Louisville!
Northwestern. The Wildcats got off to a hot start and now look very average after losing to Minnesota at home 20-17. Thanks Northwestern!
South Carolina. The Gamecocks never seemed to be interested in playing this game at Tennessee losing 23-21. The pass offense was below average and their 3rd down efficiency was 29%. Thanks South Carolina!!!
Georgia. The Bulldogs let me down again! How in the world do you lose to Vanderbilt? By giving up 17 points in the fourth quarter and getting shut out at the same time. Georgia QB Aaron Murray threw for only 114 yards. Thanks Bulldogs!!
Texas A&M. The Aggies gave up 21 points in the 4th quarter and lost to Auburn 45-41, despite Johnny Football throwing for 454 yards and 4 TD’s. Thanks A&M!.
LSU. Yet another team with national championship hopes and dreams falling flat. The Tigers lose at Ole Miss 27-24. Thanks Les!!
Clemson. Yes, Florida State is a good football team. But are they 51-14 better than Clemson? Clemson stunk it up all night. QB Boyd held to only 156 yards. Thanks Clemson!
By the way, did you see what Missouri did to Florida? Yes, I know the Gators are injured in many key positions, but the Tigers are adjusting well to the SEC.
Hopefully we can rebound next week. Here are the top games in week nine of the college football season:
Nebraska @ Minnesota
Wake Forest @ Miami Florida
Tennessee @ Alabama
Texas Tech @ Oklahoma
South Carolina @ Missouri
UCLA @ Oregon
Penn State @ Ohio State
Stanford @ Oregon State
