Football: Offense - Jonny West, Franklin College

Franklin College quarterback Jonny West (Speedway, Ind./H.S.) tied a single-game
school and conference record with seven touchdown passes in Saturday's 55-27 win
over Mount St. Joseph and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference Football Player of the Week on offense for the second time.  The senior
finished 25-of-38 through the air for 408 yards and seven touchdowns in the win.
West tossed six touchdowns in the first half, leading the Grizzlies to 48 first half
points.  West leads all NCAA Division III quarterbacks with 21 touchdown passes on
the season. No. 14 ranked Franklin (3-2, 3-0 HCAC) will play host to Anderson
Saturday at 1:30 PM.

Football: Defense - Andrew Feldhaus, Defiance College

Defiance College defensive back Andrew Feldhaus (Lutz, Fla./Steinbrenner) picked up
three turnovers in Defiance's 27-12 win over Manchester Saturday and has been named
the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on defense
for the second time.  The sophomore picked up a fumble recovery early that led to a
touchdown and added two fourth quarter interceptions that ended MU drives late in
the contest.  Feldhaus also added six tackles in the win.  Defiance (3-3, 3-1 HCAC)
has won three straight contests heading into Saturday's trip to Mount St. Joseph.

Football: Special Teams - Eric Schaible, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Rose-Hulman's Eric Schaible (Findlay, Ohio/H.S.) averaged 45.7 yards per punt in the
Engineers' 34-26 comeback win at Bluffton Saturday and has been named the Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on special teams.  The
senior punter booted three punts for a 45.7 yard average to help sway field position
in the win.  Schaible had a long of 48 yards and booted one kick inside the Bluffton
20-yard line.  Rose-Hulman (4-2, 4-0 HCAC) will return to action on Saturday,
October 26 at home against Franklin.

Women's Tennis - Alexis Taylor, Hanover College

Hanover College's Alexis Taylor (Frankfort, Ind./H.S.) helped the Panthers claim a
share of the HCAC title with a 2-0 record last week and has been named the Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.  The sophomore
posted two singles wins and two doubles wins as Hanover beat Transylvania and
Manchester.  Taylor rallied for a 5-7, 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and also paired
with sophomore Kelsey Jones for an 8-2 win against the Pioneers at No. 3 doubles to
help seal a 5-3 win over Transy. The sophomore spurred an 8-1 victory against
Manchester Saturday with a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles and an 8-2 win at No. 3
doubles.  Hanover (10-3, 7-0 HCAC) can clinch an outright league title and the top
seed in this weekend's HCAC tournament with a win over Franklin Wednesday.

Men's Soccer - Matthew Eldridge, Hanover College

Hanover College's Matthew Eldridge (Louisville, Ky./Trinity) scored a pair of
game-winning goals as the Panthers went 2-0 on the week and has been named the
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week.  The
freshman forward scored in the 17th minute to propel Hanover to a 1-0 upset win at
Transylvania and found the back of the net in overtime in HC's 1-0 win over Anderson
Saturday.  Hanover (7-5-1, 3-0 HCAC) will face Earlham and Bluffton this week.

Women's Soccer -  Brandy Crouse, Manchester University

Manchester University sophomore forward Brandy Crouse (Cleves, Ohio/Taylor) led the
Spartans to a pair of important league wins last week and has been named the
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week.   Crouse
scored the game-winning goal in Manchester's 3-2 win at Franklin Tuesday and added
another score in a 2-1 win over Transylvania Saturday.  The win over the Pioneers
ended an eight-match regular season losing streak in the series.  Manchester (6-6-1,
2-1 HCAC) will travel to Defiance and host Earlham in league play this week.

Volleyball: Offense - Alicia Kalik, Defiance College

Defiance College's Alicia Kalik (South Lyon, Mich./H.S.) helped the Yellow Jackets
to a 3-0 mark last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic
Conference Volleyball Player of the Week on offense for the second time.  Kalik
accounted for 26 assists and six digs in a 3-0 sweep of Earlham, but really came to
play on Saturday as the setter put together a pair of great outings that surpassed
2,500 career assists.  The junior racked up 39 assists with 10 digs, two block
assists, and a service ace in a 3-1 win at Transylvania Saturday.  She followed that
effort with 49 assists and 16 digs in a 3-1 non-league win over Washington & Lee.
The current HCAC leader in assists now sits at 2,545 assists for her Defiance career
and is only 124 away from breaking the school record.  Defiance (16-5, 3-0 HCAC)
will play host to Manchester and Franklin in league play this week.

Volleyball: Defense - Kate Dangel, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Rose-Hulman's Kate Dangel (Upper Arlington, Ohio/H.S.) led the Engineers to a 2-1
record last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference
Volleyball Player of the Week on defense for the second time.  The senior defensive
specialist recorded 65 digs in 11 sets (5.91 digs per set) as Rose posted league
wins over Anderson and Hanover.  Rose-Hulman (11-13, 2-3 HCAC) will travel to
California for three non-league matches over the weekend against
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Pomona-Pitzer, and Cal Lutheran.
