WHO TO THANK THIS WEEK IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Our success rate this week in college football took a hit and it’s time to give thanks to the teams that screwed it up.  We went 26-7 (79%) and overall (205-38 84%).

So here we go….Georgia Tech started it off by losing to a struggling Virginia Tech team 17-10. The Yellow Jackets managed only 273 yards of total offense.  Thanks Georgia Tech.

Tulsa lost at home to Iowa State 38-21.  Tulsa needs to learn how to hold on to the football.  Four turnovers cost the Hurricanes in this one.  Thanks Tulsa.

Oklahoma State losing at West Virginia.  The Mountaineers just got waxed last week and OK-State failed to play defense in the first half and played undisciplined football being penalized 10 times for 96 yards.  Thanks Cowboys.

North Carolina gives up 55 at home to East Carolina? Are you kidding me?   The Tar Heels allowed 603 yards of total offense as well.   Thanks North Carolina defense!

Navy managed only 183 yards to total offense against Western Kentucky, with only 107 on the ground.  I thought Navy knew how to run the football?  Thanks Navy.

UCONN almost beats Michigan and then lays an egg at Buffalo. Thanks for nothing Huskies.

I took Western Michigan hoping for a MAC upset.  Last time I take Western Michigan in a MAC upset.  Thanks Broncos.

We did pick the big games last week including Ohio State beating Wisconsin, Georgia defeating LSU, Oklahoma winning at Notre Dame, Alabama downing Ole Miss and Washington over Arizona.

Final Notes: USC finally pulled the plug on Lane Kiffin after the Trojans were whipped by Arizona State and Notre Dame has fallen out of the top 25 after losing to Oklahoma on Saturday.
