WHO TO THANK THIS WEEK
The college football season will be entering its fourth week this Thursday. We have been doing fairly well in our picks until this week. So who do we have to thank for a 40-12 week? TCU, Nebraska, Wake Forest, Texas A&M, Ball State, Iowa State, Penn State, South Florida, Texas, Marshall, Utah and Wisconsin.
Let’s start with the Big Ten team. Wisconsin QB Joel Stave cost the Badgers because he doesn’t know how to spike the football. Are you fricken kidding me? If Stave spikes the football, Wisconsin has a chance to kick a FG to beat Arizona State. Thanks Wisconsin!
Penn State loses at home to Central Florida? Yes, Central Florida is now 3-0, but the Nittany Lions shouldn’t lose at home to Central Florida. And Penn State’s defense gave up 507 yards of total offense. This isn’t Indiana’s defense…or is it? Thanks Penn State!
Now to Nebraska. The Cornhuskers were leading 21-10 at halftime and then brought out imposters in the third quarter. UCLA score 28 points in the third and 38 unanswered and beat the Huskers 41-21. Does Nebraska still have players on defense wear black in practice? Try pink this week!!! Thanks Nebraska!!
I can take Texas A&M losing to Alabama, but not Ball State losing at North Texas, Iowa State losing at home to Iowa and Texas losing again this time to Ole Miss. Texas’ defense is simply horrible after giving up another 449 yards of total offense. The Longhorns offense wasn’t much better after gaining only 320 yards TO. Thanks Texas!
Our picks this week coming soon.
