Hill rushed for 259 yards and 15.2 yards per carry against Texas.
National Defensive Player of the Week: Damante Horton, DB, Washington State
Horton has two interceptions in the first two weeks. He starred on defense returning an interception 70 yards for touchdown, then grabbing another to clinch the win for Washington State.
National Freshman of the Week: Jared Goff, QB, Cal
Goff passed for 485 yards and is the second quarterback in school history to top 400 yards in back-to-back games.
National Coordinator of the Week: Bill Cubit, Illinois
In just two games, Cubit's offense has scored 87 points and matched last year's win total.
