ORLANDO, Fla. — The Earlham College men's tennis team finished its Spring Break trip
to Florida on Thursday as the Quakers defeated the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
8-1.

Earlham began the match by sweeping the doubles competition from the Titans (6-8).
Anton Bartashevich and Jack Ventura-Cruess defeated Kevin Lewis and Bobby Brooks 8-3
at No. 1.

Kyle Richter and Phillip Locklear won 8-5 over Aidan Sauberlich and Mike Gillespie
at No. 2. At No. 3, Andrey Gavrilov and Brad Maisey blanked Adam Kasper and Charlie
Bostwick 8-0.

In singles play, Locklear beat Sauberlich 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2. Richter won 6-4, 6-1
over Gillespie at No. 3.

At No. 4, Ventura-Cruess posted 6-2, 6-3 victory over Adam Kasper. Maisey extended
his all-time win mark to 116 as he beat Alex Yang 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5.

Scott Lawrence picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win over Kinan Al-Bitar at No. 6.

The Quakers (10-2) return to action with their home opener against Defiance College
on Wednesday, April 3. The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match gets
underway at 4 p.m.
