HCAC Places Four on D3hoops.com All-Region Squads

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed four
men's basketball players on the D3hoops.com All-Region teams. The honored
athletes earned a spot on the All-Midwest region team.

The website announced the recipients this morning with Rose-Hulman's Julian
Strickland (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike), Anderson's Phil Hogan (Indianapolis,
Ind./Pike), Defiance's Logan Wolfrum (Defiance, Ohio/Ayersville), and
Transylvania's Ethan Spurlin (Stanford, Ky./Lincoln Co.) appearing on the
All-Midwest region team.

Strickland, the HCAC Player of the Year, earned a spot on the All-Midwest
region first-team, while Hogan and Wolfrum earned second-team accolades.
Spurlin was placed on the third-team.

Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors
at the various schools. There were 729 players nominated nationwide, a new
high.
