BIG EAST MEN'S BASKETBALL

*         Saturday will be the final day of the 2012-13 BIG EAST regular season.



*         Georgetown, Louisville and Marquette would each clinch at least a share of
the BIG EAST regular-season title with a win Saturday.



*         Georgetown holds tiebreaker advantages against Louisville and Marquette
and would be the No. 1 seed in The BIG EAST Championship with a win against Syracuse
Saturday.



*         Louisville holds a head-to-head tiebreaker advantage with Marquette and
would be the No. 1 seed with a win against Notre Dame and a Georgetown loss to
Syracuse.



*         Marquette would earn the No. 1 seed with a win against St. John's and
losses by Georgetown and Louisville.



*         The battle for the final double bye to the quarterfinals of the tournament
comes down to Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Notre Dame. Pittsburgh enters Saturday with
the advantage in a complex three-team tiebreaker thanks to the Panthers' 2-0 record
against Connecticut and Providence.



*         Should Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Notre Dame remain in a three-way tie after
their Saturday games, the seeding order could depend on the results of the other
three games.
