March 5, 2013
Eastern Indiana Sports* Louisville clinched the third double bye to the BIG EAST Championship
quarterfinal round - and moved into a tie with first-place Georgetown in the
conference win column - with last night's 67-51 win against Cincinnati.
* Last night's win was the 300th at Louisville for coach Rick Pitino, who is
300-111 with the Cardinals.
* The BIG EAST has six teams ranked in the top 25 of both major national
polls this week.

enters tonight one game behind Georgetown in the league standings.
* The fourth double bye in the BIG EAST Championship will go to either
Pittsburgh, Syracuse or Notre Dame. The Irish look to help their cause tonight
against St. John's (7 p.m., ESPN2).
* Providence, which has won six of its last seven BIG EAST games, hosts
Seton Hall at the Dunkin' Donuts Center (9 p.m., BIG EAST Network/SNY).
