Earlham Has Another HCAC Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College men's tennis team continues to add to the list of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Players of the Week.
Anton Bartashevich is the latest for the 30th ranked Quakers and fourth in a row during the first month of the season.
Phillip Locklear, Brad Maisey and Kyle Richter are the other recipients of the honor.
Bartashevich won all four of his matches last weekend as the Quakers beat Ohio Northern University 8-1 and Luther College 7-2.
Against Ohio Northern, he beat Joey Frank 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles. Bartashevich and Jack Ventura-Cruess won 8-1 over Josh Saunders and Do Thai at No. 1 doubles.
Bartashevich defeated Ramesh Karki of Luther 6-3, 6-2 in the top singles position. At No. 1 doubles, Bartashevich and Ventura-Cruess outlasted Karki and Quinn Foley 9-7.
Earlham (6-0) entertains Capital University on Thursday at the Dayton Center Courts. The non-conference affair gets underway at 5 p.m.
