Player of the Week

Megan Blank, Iowa

So., SS, Culver City, Calif./Marymount

• Led Iowa to a perfect 4-0 record last weekend, including a pair of wins over top -25 squads Stanford and Oregon State
• Recorded at least one RBI in every game, driving in eight in all, including four against Oregon State on the strength of a double and a home run, and two against Stanford
• Scored five runs on the weekend, including a pair of scores against Oregon State and Cal State Fullerton, while finishing the week with a .429 average
• Wins her first Big Ten Player of the Week honor

Pitcher of the Week

Sara Moulton, Minnesota

Jr., RHP, Eagan, Minn./Eagan

• Was a perfect 3-0 on the weekend, highlighted by her second no-hitter of the season against Middle Tennessee
• Struck out 26 batters against just two walks, including a 15-strikeout effort against Gardner Webb to end the weekend
• Surrendered just three earned runs in 19.1 innings of work, going the distance against Middle Tennessee and Auburn
• Wins her sixth career Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor and second this season

Co-Freshmen of the Week

Sierra Romero, Michigan

SS, Murrieta, Calif./Vista Murrieta

• Hit .474 from the plate and posted multiple hits in three games, including a pair of three-hit efforts, over the weekend
• Drove in five and scored seven runs, while going a perfect three-for-three on the base paths
• Posted back-to-back three-hit games against LSU and James Madison, while scoring two runs in each of the Wolverines’ three victories
• Wins her second Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor

Emily Lockman, Nebraska

RHP, Corona, Calif./Norco

• Earned two complete-game wins in the circle for the Huskers this weekend, including a victory over No. 1 Oklahoma
• Pitched seven shutout innings against the Sooners, striking out three to snap Oklahoma’s 17-game season-opening win streak
• Followed with her second complete game of the weekend against Oklahoma State, scattering eight hits in the Husker win
• Wins her second freshman of the week honor this season
