·         Won an 8-2 decision against Virginia Tech’s Austin Gabel to help the
Gophers to a 28-8 win over the Hokies in the quarterfinals

·         Recorded a 3-1 decision over Iowa’s third-ranked Mike Evans to push
Minnesota to a 22-15 win over the Hawkeyes in the semifinals

·         Pinned Oklahoma State’s second-ranked Chris Perry (8:20) to lead Minnesota
to a 28-9 win over the previously unbeaten Cowboys and the National Duals title

·         Ranked first nationally at 174 pounds

·         Earns the first conference honor of his career
