Kent State (14-11, 5-6 MAC) at Ohio (18-6, 9-1 MAC)
11 a.m. ET • Ohio leads series 89-44
• Ohio looks to earn a regular season sweep of Kent State for the first time since 2000-01 when the Golden Flashes invade the Convocation Center Saturday at 11 a.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU. With the win, the Ohio senior class of Ivo Baltic, D.J. Cooper, Reggie Keely, David McKinley and Walter Offutt claimed its 88th career victory, setting a new school record for victories by a class...The Golden Flashes have posted a 14-11 record this season and are 5-5 on the road. Kent State is 5-6 in MAC play this season and is tied for third place in the East Division. Last time out, the Golden Flashes defeated Miami, 87-70, Wednesday at the M.A.C. Center. Senior forward Chris Evans led Kent with a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Evans ranks fourth in the MAC with 17.0 points per game and leads the Flashes in rebounding (7.3 rpg). 
Eastern Michigan (11-13, 4-6 MAC) at Ball State (10-13, 4-7 MAC)
2 p.m. ET • Ball State leads series 54-38

• Ball State posted its second straight win with a 56-52 victory Wednesday at Northern Illinois to improve to 10-13 overall (4-7 MAC). The Cardinals are fourth in the MAC West standings, a half-game behind Eastern Michigan. Jauwan Scaife, who has scored 53 points over the past two games, is averaging 17.9 points per game in conference play to rank third in the league... Eastern Michigan dropped a 70-62 decision to MAC-leading Akron on Wednesday. Senior guard Derek Thompson is averaging 10.7 points per game, while junior forward Glenn Bryant adds 10.2 for the Eagles.
Buffalo (10-15. 5-6 MAC) at Miami (8-15, 3-8 MAC)
3:30 p.m. ET • Miami leads series 22-9

•  After two straight at home, Buffalo travels to Miami to take on the RedHawks on Saturday afternoon.  The Bulls are 10-15 overall and 5-6 in the MAC after beating Toledo, 75-60, on Wednesday night. Tony Watson led the Bulls with a career-high 24 points. Javon McCrea notched his eighth double-double of the season with 14 points and a career-high 16 rebounds. Miami is 8-15 overall and 3-8 in the MAC. The RedHawks are coming off an 87-70 loss at Kent State on Wednesday night. Miami is led by Allen Roberts who is averaging 12.9 points per game. 
Northern Illinois (5-18, 3-8 MAC) at Western Michigan (15-9, 7-4 MAC)
6 p.m. ET • Western Michigan leads series 51-29

• The Broncos are 14-5 against the Huskies under head coach Steve Hawkins, including seven straight victories against NIU. Shayne Whittington’s eight double-doubles are tied with Javon McCrea and Majok Majok for most in the MAC this season. Whittington is averaging a double-double of 16.0 points and 10.6 rebounds per game over the last five contests...NIU’s Abdel Nader has scored in double figures in 12-of-16 games this season; Nader has scored in double figures in 28 games during his career, including six 20-plus games. Freshmen have played 55.5 percent of the minutes this season for NIU; sophomores have added another 26.9 percent of the minutes.
Toledo (11-11, 7-4 MAC) at Central Michigan (9-15, 2-9 MAC)
7 p.m. ET • Toledo leads series 56-32

• Toledo looks to bounce back from Wednesday’s 75-60 loss at Buffalo when it travels to Central Michigan. UT features two of the MAC’s top scorers with junior G Rian Pearson pacing the league at 18.2 ppg and sophomore G Julius Brown in ninth place at 13.3 ppg. Pearson and Brown are the MAC’s top scoring tandem at 31.5 ppg...Saturday’s game will pit the MAC’s top two scorers with CMU senior G Kyle Randall averaging 17.7 ppg and trails Rian Pearson by just 0.5 ppg. CMU is second in the MAC with a 72.4 FT%, but ranks last in the MAC in scoring defense (71.6 ppg) and 11th in opponent FG% (47.4).
Bowling Green (10-14, 5-6 MAC) at Akron (20-4, 11-0 MAC)
7:30 p.m. ET • Akron leads series 27-24

• The Zips became just the eighth team to win at least 20 games in each of the last eight seasons thanks to a 70-62 road win on EMU on Wednesday. Akron joins Butler, Duke, Florida, Gonzaga, Kansas, Pittsburgh and Syracuse as the only programs to win at least 20 games in each of the past eight seasons. The Zips received votes in the AP (12) and USA Today Coaches Poll (9). Both tallies are the highest point totals, respectively, in each poll in program history...The Falcons have won three of their last four contests and boast are 1-9 in true road games (1-5 in MAC play). Two Falcons are averaging double figures in the scoring column, including A’uston Calhoun (16.0 ppg) and Jordon Crawford (15.4 ppg).
