The Hoosiers begin a two-game homestand when they play host to Nebraska on Wednesday night. This will be the first visit by the Cornhuskers to Bloomington since 1974. The Hoosiers are coming off an 81-68 road win at No. 10/10 Ohio State. Junior Victor Oladipo (26 points), sophomore Cody Zeller (24) and senior Christian Watford(20) led the way for IU. The Hoosiers are a nation's best 5-0 when facing a nationally ranked opponent. Overall, IU is 6-3 against teams that have been nationally ranked at some point this season.
SIGNIFICANCE OF OSU WIN: IU gets its first double-digit road win at a top-10 foe since Dec. 5, 1964, at No. 8 Kansas State, 81-70. The win is the first for Indiana on the road against a top-10 team since Dec. 5, 2000, when they beat No. 10 Notre Dame, 86-78. It is the Hoosiers' first road win against at top-25 team since a 77-66 triumph at Iowa on Jan. 13, 2002. The victory gives the Hoosiers five road wins in Big Ten play, clinching a winning road record in conference play for the first time since 2008. IU begins the week in a first place tie with Michigan State at 9-2 atop the Big Ten Conference standings.
