DEVILS BEAT MARION

(MARION)      The Richmond Red Devils stayed in the hunt for an NCC championship with a come from behind win at Marion 66-57.   The Red Devils trailed by 15 in third quarter before Richmond caught fire on offense and made life tough on the Giants.  Jacob Hampton was held to five in the first half before scoring 15 in the second half, including eight in the fourth quarter.   Joel Okafor added 12 and Freshman Reggie Jones came off the bench to score 11.  Richmond’s defense forced Marion into 20 turnovers.  Richmond improved to 3-1 in the NCC.  Kokomo defeated Anderson Friday night 69-64 to stay unbeaten in conference play.  The Red Devils play at Anderson next Friday night.
