Weeden's Browns debut embarrassing all around

People wrap themselves in the flag for a variety of reasons — some more noble than others.
As we’re seeing now, it’s common practice among campaigning politicians. And at the just-finished London Olympics over-joyed athletes often reached for their nation’s flag as a way to help celebrate a medal-winning performance.
But nobody has done it quite the way Brandon Weeden, the Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback, did Sunday before the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.
He was warming up near the sideline in Cleveland Browns Stadium just as a host of uniformed soldiers began briskly pulling a giant U.S. flag across the entire field for the singing of the national anthem.
And one minute you saw Weeden tossing a ball back and forth to a receiver and then — with one billowing wave of stars and stripes — he disappeared. And soon you saw a human form struggling beneath the flag, trapped and trying to work his way to an opening across the field. Finally, you saw him pop out the other side.
The incident was caught on tape and before the game had ended, it was on the internet and starting to go viral.
