Minnesota 44, New Hampshire 7:MarQueis Gray threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more by halftime, and Minnesota finally enjoyed an easy victory over an FCS-level opponent by beating New Hampshire 44-7 on Saturday. Gray passed only eight times but completed six for 100 yards and scores to Isaac Fruechte and John Rabe.

Ohio State 31, Central Florida 16:Braxton Miller became the first Ohio State quarterback to rush for three touchdowns in 34 years and he passed for another score to lead the 14th-ranked Buckeyes to a 31-16 victory over Central Florida on Saturday. A week after setting a school quarterback record with 161 rushing yards in a 56-10 win over Miami (Ohio), Miller ran for 141 yards on 27 carries.

Virginia 17, Penn State 16:Virginia's Michael Rocco hit Jake McGee on a 6-yard touchdown pass with 1:28 to play Saturday - and a missed PSU field goal at the gun - preserved the Cavaliers' 17-16 victory over Penn State.

Michigan State 41, Central Michigan 7:Andrew Maxwell threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns, and No. 11 Michigan State cruised to a 41-7 win over Central Michigan on Saturday. The Spartans (2-0) scored 10 points in the final minute of the first half to take a 24-0 lead.

Michigan 31, Air Force 25:Denard Robinson ran for 218 yards, threw for 208 and scored four times to help No. 19 Michigan hold off Air Force for a 31-25 win Saturday. Robinson became the first player in major college football since at least 1996 to have at least 200 yards rushing and 200 passing in three games, according to STATS LLC.

Indiana 45, Massachusetts 6:Indiana QB Tre Roberson had scored on runs of 50 and 39 yards before leaving the game, and Indiana spoiled Massachusetts' first home game as a Football Bowl Subdivision member with a 45-6 win on Saturday.

Notre Dame 20, Purdue 17:No. 22 Notre Dame took the lead in the fourth quarter and hung on for a 20-17 victory over Purdue on Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium. With seven seconds to go, Kyle Brindza made a 27-yard field goal to give the Fighting Irish a 20-17 lead.

Iowa State 9, Iowa 6:Steele Jantz threw for 241 yards and the game's only touchdown on Saturday and Iowa State beat Iowa 9-6 for its first win in Iowa City in 10 years. Jake Knott's interception with 1:11 left sealed the win for the Cyclones (2-0), whose defense held Iowa to just 304 yards of offense.

Oregon State 10, Wisconsin 7:Oregon State took home a 10-7 win over No. 13 Wisconsin thanks to the chemistry between Sean Mannion and Brandin Cooks, who led the passing attack for the Beavers on Saturday at Reser Stadium. Mannion hit Cooks for 97 yards on eight catches during the win.

Arizona State 45, Illinois 14:Taylor Kelly completed 18 of 24 passes for 249 yards and a touchdown, and Arizona State rolled past Illinois 45-14 on Saturday night to improve to 2-0 under new coach Todd Graham. Kelly's backup, Michael Eubank, was 5 of 5 passing for 69 yards and two touchdowns and ran 7 yards for a score.
